Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be physically demanding
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be client-focused, organized, and reliable
• The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
• The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers checksor room billings
• The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections, balance cash and record sales, and clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
• The candidates should be able to describe and advise on wine selection, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
• The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs and provide customer service
